the 06.30 Carlow to Heuston train now stops in Sallins and Naas although it's not on the new timetable, the train is now late everyday getting in and is overcrowded. Did anyone hear of ammendments to that timetable, or is it just a case of filling the train because of demand?

Train calls Sallins every weekday until April 8th, after which it calls at Adamstown in place of the Sallins stop

Arrival Heuston is given as 7:55

Its definitely there on the IE website

There seems to be a carriage or two missing off the 6:30 currently this is due to the unreliability of Dublin Cork services which require a spare train to be held in reserve. Needless to say the DoT have held up the Kildare route project for 3 years which isn't helping

http://www.iarnrodeireann.ie/your_journey/printed_timetable_pdfs/2007/dublin%20waterford%2007.pdf according to this it gets in @7.52 and doesnt stop at sallins and Naas.

    Its definitely there

The timetable has it calling in Adamstown from April 10th so calling at Sallins in the interim has no effect since the time is allowed for 1 stop, however from April 10th the Sallins stop will be no more and the as published Adamstown stop should occur

There are 6 timetables, in order of accuracy starting with the most inaccurate

    1) The €2 booklet
    2) The free line by line leaflet
    3) The one at the station
    4) The online pdf files
    5) The online timetable search
    6) The 1 inch thick timetable internally used and its weekly update

The only one to trust is the online timetable search since its mapped directly from the signalling computer timetable its more accurate than the one the drivers have especially when there are last minute changes eg concerts

Cool, so my TrainSched, based on the PDF files, do well in the accuracy scale.

Bad news is 1 through 4 are more or less the same apart from the typos, if there is a change during the year they won't be updated

So far no errors in the timetable plently of typos though
