So I opened an excel document from an email..
numerous times i saved it using the autosave function but now when I open up the document from the email again none of the changes are saved.
cud it have been saved somewhere else?
    thanks

Changes made to items opened directly from an email won't have the changes applied to the email. Autosave will save the file to the temporary location it was opened in when you double clicked the email.

If you want to know where your changes are saved, save the document in a folder before editing it.
