Broken Indicaters

My indicaters have stopped working. My hazard lights are working ok but I can't indicate. When I switch on the hazards, the indicator light on the dash board doesn't work either.

Is there simply a fuse gone or could it be something more serious?

    1. Check all bulbs.
    2. Check the fuses
    3. Check the relay
    4. Check the wiring

I'll make a wild guess that you have a VW. It's most likely the flasher relay thats faulty.

    Hi all,

This seem to be an on going problem. It was the fuse that was giving the trouble. Since February I have replaced the fuse 4 times, with the most recent one being this morning.

Why would the fuse keep breaking?

What do you need indicators for? Nobody seems to bother with that option on new cars.

Well I'm one of the few people who actually uses them!

My guess is that it could be a number of things like dodgy wiring or voltage. Might be worth bringing it to an auto electric if your not familiar with car electrics.
