Hi all, ordered standard sky and the sports package (a must) online today. Confirmed for the 19th. Just wondered how this worked. I know they erect a dish. We have only one tv point in the living room. Can I send sky to a tv upstairs without this or maybe set up an aerial for the kitchen or upstairs. any thoughts, thanks

They may not use the TV point in the living room. The cable inside it may not be suitable for satellite signals. What they may do in that case is run the cable outside and through the wall behind the TV.

To send Sky upstairs, you'll need either a seperate cable going from the back of Skybox to the bedroom, or you could use a Video Sender which does this wirelessly. This is OK provided the other room isn't too far away or behind too many walls which would affect signal of the Video Sender.

Would it be possible to run more cables in the conduit that just has one cable behind the TV?

You could if you wanted set up an aerial surely for other TV's in the house. I'm not sure what Transmitter you'd use for your terrestrial reception, so can't give any guidance on what you'd need there.
