strategy sub-forum?

a strategy sub-forum, whose in favour?

Been discussed and given the no no before. The main forum in the large is for that , and if you remove so called strategy threads, which could legitimately include, HH's, how to approach certain types of opponents, how to move up levels, how to build a bankroll and probably several other types of threads, then the main forum would be underused.

I am not in favour anyhow. If a subforum is to be introduced (and I don't think it is) it would be to in some way reduce noise that detracts from the main discussions, not to move the main discussions.

I think poker should get a menu of its own between Music and Sci, and have Antes Up/Tournies & events in the little drop down menu!

At least get it out of the real world games, playing online is no more or less real world than Halo and the likes. I'm sure there are lots of people scanning through the menus and miss the Poker forum.

Poker forum is the 5th biggest forum on boards. And it's hidden away under Games->Real World Games->Poker. Beside Chess and Magic the Gathering
Should be under Rec if you ask me. We probably need an off-topic poker forum at this stage too.

i'd like to see an off topic poker forum too. coz i like to give my mind a ramble. for example have you noticed that the sex chat lines have gotten saucier on the telly recently. how far will they go before they get slapped on the wrist? hmm?

put the poker forum in the religion section as its mostly at the poker table that i experience the wrath of the Baby Jesus.
