Think how bad lee murray ****ed his life up, he wouldve probably been the poster boy for the ufc in the uk - he had the look, the attitude and the skills to be a star - what a loser!

Maybe Murray will get lucky and get to see it on tv from his jail cell. That is if his cell "buddy" lets him :p

Enter "Lee Murray" in this site and see what pops up. http://www.prisonbitchname.com/

Oh well, that's what happens when you lead that lifestyle.

Murray's still on the run in Morocco unfortunately

I'd love to go to this, although I don't see where I'd get the money right now! There'll be more events in Britain this year anyway, and possibly an Irish one too

He's not on the run, authorities in Morocco have had him since last year. :)

Oh right, I must've heard differently! Good news I suppose, just read he was charged in court today

There was talk here before of an Irish lad possibly gettin through to the Ultimate Fighter when they held their British auditions, but is there any news on an Irish fighter possibly competing at this event?

I doubt it.. MMA is still relatively new in Ireland, so the level of talent is still not nearly high enough to compete on the world level, when you have countries like the US who can have a base of an entire childhood in wrestling in schoo, or brazil who have their base in bjj, holland with a base in muay thai, etc..

There is no real base in Ireland, other than perhaps boxing.

Does anyone know anything about tickets for this?

You needed a British passport for the UK tryouts. In related news, Francis Heagney is fighting on Cage Rage ths weekend.

Man, i've had the pleasure of seeing Francis Heagney roll. I'll say i was very, very impressed!!! Best of luck to him, any idea who he faces off against????

How would you get tickets for this ?

    Directly through UFC or ticketmaster?

When would they usually go on sale?

What time do the fights usually start?

Really? That's cool. Fair play to him.

Very little of what you've put on there is confirmed, though most of it seems to be true.

Kongo vs Cro Cop (as far as I know) is pure speculation because they're both HW's, both strikers and have been linked with this event. It makes sense and it probably will end up being the fight they put on but all sources (that I know of) have mentioned both fighters but have not said that they're fighting each other.

I have it from a VERY good source that Bisping and Elvis will be fighting each other but I still wouldn't call it confirmed until the UFC announce it.

Both Bisping and Sinosic have been rumoured for the card, so it's probably true.
