I just love the governments response...
The Government has dismissed the figures and says Ireland will still meet its Kyoto targets by purchasing carbon credits on the international market.

Now i know this money is supposed to go into projects abroad for decreasing green house gas or something but surely they should be trying to tackle it at home instead of throwing 270 million euro out of the country. Could they not invest that here in this country?
