    Brilliant imo.

For Jack grilling Graham and finding out about Day5, for Morris turning out to be the tech McCarthy was looking for, and for Daddy Bauer turning out to be not so good and killing Graham to keep it quiet.

Dysfunctional family to say the least!

I was waiting for Daddy Bauer to show himself. Saw it coming a mile off. Especially after he shot one of their would-be executioners after he was disarmed.

Didn't expect that Morris would be the engineer at all though.

Great episode overall. Jack was going extra-strength mental when he found out what Graham did! :D

Didn't spot that and it was so obvious!!

Great episode, the last 2 minutes made it.
    Some twist..s...

Maurice as the engineer is a good one, half way through the episode I was beginning to wonder how the hell they were going to keep the story going, now with maurice and jacks da involved again it should keep it going.

I won't be surprised when they try to overthrow the president (or whatever they do to get rid of them)

Here's one for a bet, chloe gets killed before the end of the day!

Roll on the next ep :)

Ok, havent seen this episode, just watching as they go along on Sky, but saying Morris is the engineer, I knew he'd have something to do with the "baddies" from the moment he opened his mouth in episode 1. Then again, I was doubting it y this stage, but now I know I was right all along. Sure will see it on Sunday, looking forward to it

Saw the Morris thing coming but not so much Bauer Sr. Good episode and I'm guessing Morris is in for a nasty experience in the next episode. Will also be interesting to see what Jack's dad's next move is.

I never saw the end coming with Jack's pop being revealed as the baddie.
I suppose it makes sense that he offed that guy so Jack couldn't speak to him.
We've seen Jack torture people loads of times before so him doing it to his brother wasn't really that big a deal, although it was pretty intense.
Never expected Maurice or Morris, (however you are supposed to spell it) being the one to be kidnapped to trigger the nukes.
Nice to see the plot is taking a few unexpected twists and turns, hopefully they will keep it up as the season goes on.

Meant to add, I would dearly like a little vial of the stuff he gave to Graham :)

    For...ehh..medical research of course :)

Yeah but it didn't work did it? Graham didn't tell him everything. That was a bit unrealistic I think; I mean Graham is just an ordinary Joe, he wasn't trained to withstand interrogation but he was still able to hold out under the most extreme pain imaginable.

We don't know if he was trained or not. He doesn't look in good shape but I don't know if that is any way relevent to resisting pain.

Better episode good to see James Cromwell at his menacing best in the final scene as Gray was dying , I could see him reprise his character from L.A Confidential and whisper in his ear "Have you a valediction, lad?"

I expect Phillip Bauer to be a bad guy, I expected Morris (spelt Morris) to be the engineer. Perhaps I watch 24 too much.

I am getting a feeling that Pres. Plamer is a Republican rather then a Democrat they have certainly made the Vice Pres out to be a Republican. But prehaps I am wrong on this one.

I think it will get better from now on.

    3/5

Nice last 2 mins. pity about the scene with Graham's wife and Jack, very badly acted IMO and also Sandra and Walid storyline will now just have to finish unless either of them have something to do with the terrorist or perhaps that stroyline is there only to make Pres. Plamer not go along with Lennox.

    Just a thought.

Also in Day 5 pres. Logan refered to Graem as Graham. NO?

Ah damn, I was only going on what I read here. So Im guessing now he involuntarily took the job. I dont care bout reading spoilers anyway, cos they never fully set the scene. Sure I shall see later anyway, let the mystery become unsolved to me then.

Eh....what's the story with Morris? He's an analyst, an audio/video specialist, no?

But all of sudden he's an engineer who's an expert in triggers for nuclear devices

Other than that, decent episode :)

Dissapointed with it I'm afraid. It's all so predictable now. And they're constantly trying to use harrowing images (eg. Bauer Snr. killing his son) to shock the fans, but they're doing it far too often this series.

And if I was one of those ones in the meeting Palmer called, I'd be proper pissed off. Being dragged into an 'emergency' meeting just to be told Palmer hasn't changed his mind. Pfft.

I'm glad Maurice has been taken. Hopefully, he'll be killed. Then Chloe. Then Sandra Palmer. I don't care what order they kill them in...

They got a bit of Falling Down in there with Bauer and his bro.
"We're the same" "We are NOT the same!" cue temper tantrum.

And a bit of LA Confidential same actor and all, I expected James Cromwell to say "Hush Hush" when he was killing his son.

The exchange between Jack and Graham during the torture scene was emmy winning stuff!
Amazing! You could just make out Jack's heart breaking when he told him about Day 5!

Terrific episode I thought, especially following last week's (which I thought was probably the weakest so far).
The scene with Jack interrogating Grahem was brilliant stuff. Of the two twists, well, I didn't see the daddy Baeur one coming until he told Jack he 'wanted some time' before he went back to CTU. Although I wasn't sure whether he was going to kill Grahem or help him escape.
The Morris twist I didn't see coming at all. Great twist. Someone mentioned in a thread at the start of the season that the introduction of his character at the end of Season 5 was a bit random. Well, maybe we have a reason now.

A reasonably good episode overall, IMO.

Didn't see the twist at the end where Philip Bauer tries to kill his son, althought I thought some of the footage of Jack interrogating Graham was a bit strange.

Morris as an engineer - I thought he was an analyst

I'm an engineer and in the lab we call this the 'Chloe O'Brian Effect'. If you're a 'technical' person you're expected to be able to solve any problem involving computers, chemicals and/or mechanical devices and if you can't do it or can't do it quick enough non-technical people assume that shouting at you will somehow help.

why is this sticky'd, found it in the end 'suppose

thought this episode was good but predictable and in places weak

Jack's dad = bad, not a great surprise that he was using Jnr as a puppet, why he was allowed into the room with him alone???? FFS
Morris = the "engineer", again not a great surprise, kinda reminded me of No Way Out, the whole Morris being "captured" was a very weak plot line I thought, the way yer man just pulled up and popped out of the car, very much leaving things to chance, if I were Morris and my bro was someone where he was not supposed to be then the first thing I'd be doing would be to phone him on the mobile not the hospital, also the bit where he's working away and then leaves with 2 minutes to go was weak again

Jack's dad just looks out of place in this program and the whole Jack's personal life does nothing for me

Annoying as she was I miss the unpredictable Chloe smart arse comments
That aide to the Pres is a smarmy fecker, good character though

When I heard the Morris' brother has been caught up in the blast/fallout i got a serious case of deja vous.
Remember Adam Kauffman? Day 3? The guy that didn't like Kim? His sister was infected with the cordila virus
And Edgars mother been in the fall out zone from the reactor melting down and been unable to leave her house.
So i was kinda glad it didn't turn out to be the same story just to fill a bit of air time for the next few hours.
Although it appears to be a bit unbelievable it does add an extra plot line to the story for the next while.
