One of the users in our company wants us to check out her laptop. If this was one of the company laptops we'd just install avg or something and run that. The user has asked for nothing else to be installed onto it though, probably her pimps .

So is there a standalond command line virus scanner out there that any body knows of?

I know Nortons website can run an activex type scan but obviously if a user thinks they have a virus they usually do, and I dont want to put it onto out network..

    [edit]

Its ok google was my friend after all

Blacklight can run a test for rootkits without installation.
