    Anyone know where i can get royalty free irish instrument samples? My course are making an intro for a trad music show for friday!

    I have seen a few ethnic instrument soundfonts and sample out there that have taken in one or two bits of the auld trad. If I remember where I'll be straight back to you. In the meantime a little digging my find you you a nugget if you're lucky.

    I used to know a guy who sampled the Uileann pipes for a college project a few years back, I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

    Grab a couple of Mikes and toodle on up to Devitts on Camden St. (up from the palace) any night, there's trad nights every night ansin, nothing too formal (couple of pints and a bit of craic) I'm sure the guys wouldn't mind you recording a few samples, get in early for a decent enough recording. Worth a try imo
