Trying to play a dvd on my laptop (dell inspiron 6400) and i keep getting a decoder message.

P.s. i formatted the hard-drive on receiving laptop. maybe i forgot to re-install some drivers??

    Cheers

windows doesn't come with dvd player software/codec, so you'll need to install some dvd player software or dvd playback codec.

you could try install vlc, it might playback dvd's without other software
