What to do? (well plenty you might say:D )

Can anyone recommend any decent hostels. May head over there.

Is it very expensive place to visit?. Any thing unusual or interesting to do there.

    Thankies;) .

You could do the tourist-ey thingies like the London Eye, Madame Tussauds(wax museum) and see the auld one that lives in Buckingham Palace. :) Grab a tube map online and use that as transport. There is street entertainment often in Covent Gardens also.
My favourite place to go is Camden Market, lots of cool stuff. Link.

If you go to the Bank of England, you can hold a gold bar worth €300,000 in one hand :D No admission charge either.

Who, me? Never! Here's a pic of a young chap lifting the bar.

I also did a tour of BBC TV centre while I was there last year. Not as good as I was hoping (no Blue Peter garden) but interesting and unusual anyway.
