Im not really sure how to go about this...

After a dramatic weight loss my breasts have unfortunatly stayed the same size-Im a size 10 and have an E chest- No amount of exercise has helped this and its really getting to me.

I have no idea where i would start on this- so does anyone here know how much it would cost? And does anyone know if this can be done outside dublin -I dont want to have to go there to get it!Any idea on how long it would take to heal?

I have asked my doctor but she refuses to help-Says that more excerise will help-But I have had enough of exercising and my breasts saying the same size-Its getting to the stage where i look like a porn star they are so big compared to my waist!

Whats so terrible about going to Dublin for a day or two?

    From wikipedia:
Patients may take a few weeks for initial recovery, however it may take from six months to a year for the body to completely adjust to the new breast size. Some women may experience discomfort during their initial menstruation following the surgery due to the breasts swelling.

Scarring from this procedure may be extensive and can be permanent. Initially the scars are lumpy and red, but gradually subside into their final smaller sizes as thin lines. Though permanent, the surgeon can generally make the scars inconspicuous to the point that even low-cut tops may be worn without visible scars. Other common problems include: asymmetry, delayed wound healing, altered nipple sensation, fluid retention in the breast, altered erogenous function, late changes in shape and recurrent ptosis (breasts) (drooping.)

So not really advisable unless you really need it. Your doctor is telling you to exercise more to reduce them. Do you think she's wrong or are you just lazy? If you think she's wrong then get a second and third opinion.

Yep, go to a different doctor for another opinion. A dress size 10 and an E cup shest sounds rather painful on the back :)

Also, I'm not sure what type of exercise is going to remove any more fat from the breasts, that sounds like an diet issue at this stage if you are already a size 10!

I know a friend of my gf had a reduction last year but that was due to chronic back pain and X-ray backed up her complaint.

Honestly, if you will eb getting it done, they will advise you as to what hospitals can do it but Dublin is not a bad place to have an operation. Dont worry about where it will be done just yet, see if another doctor agrees with your last GP or not.

if you have private health insurance, they do cover for breast reduction, there is criteria, but the consultant will know what it is and if you qualify.....
