    hi folks,

due to a little mix-up the last thread i posted was deleted.

though i am fond of this forum for many reasons.

i started up a totally free and open ma forum. not attached to any club, group or association. it is there for all irish martial artists to register club details, events and chit-chat!

all are welcome and the forum is open to suggestions for new sections and development.

    see ya there ;)

Its kind of feels like the old irmac.net forums. The Club listing portion is good. Hopefully they'll make one for Kilkenny and Carlow.

    yeah resembles irmac for sure..

Nice board bro, but the colour is a little abrasive. I find it hard to read the sections with the yellow background.

Best of luck with it anyway

it was blue! but people were complainingabout that?

the "yellow" is meant to be a light orange?

dark orange don't work well either? i'll mess around with it for while longer i guess :D

    thanks for registering!

    guys,

a few people have reported this thread/pm'd me regarding it.

Paul cleared it with DeVore (a site admin) so it's cool that there's a thread about it.

For my own 2c, this board is cooler.

Course he had to clear it with DeV... the guy is pimping his own forum. :P

But hey, its a cool forum, with great discussions, and great people using it (people like myself). So why not jump on the band wagon folks.

    Right, I'll be honest.

I wouldn't mind regularly using another MA site, and 'maireland' would be great. But the colour's are murdering my eye's and thats the only thing preventing me jumping ship.

    Change the damn colour!.

I see Jon is Moderating over there too, excellent choice IMO.

    Pleasssssssssssssss change the colour.

    Hi guys,

Been creating a forum myself due to the fact in the North of Ireland you cant find Martial Arts clubs cause they are not advertised, well not very well......Me being at Uni at Coleraine Co.Derry wanted to carry on my muay thai and realised nothing of the sort in the area and couldnt find details to other clubs etc...

Created this to help promote/Advertise Martial Arts clubs in the area....So in posting this please guys dont think im trying to compete with your sites just i didnt realise there was so many others.

Anyways hope ur like me and love Martials Arts - Joey.

    goodluck with your site! ;)

i don't want to seem like a picky fecker, but the name might cause some confusion as Martial Arts Ireland is running a charity seminar in dublin soon and people may not be sure which one is actually involved with it?

Yea i have a clash of names with the other members site.....Maybe just lack of research on my behalf....

As i said i made it to promote/advertise martial arts throughout Ireland - in my own experence in the north its hard to find places to train cause they arnt well advertised..

    Thanks.

Hope you guys like my site.... Gonna be working on it more.
