Getting Cable Re-wired

We're planning on getting Chorus to re-wire our cable (possibly while upgrading to their digital package) as the reception is generally gammy and seems to vary in different weather. It's especially bad when windy which is why I suspect it's the cable going to our house that's at fault.

Only thing is the cable goes through a 3-way splitter (that I put in) in the attic to 3 TVs. Are they going to like that? I remember when we moved in we were allegedly supposed to pay more for multiple room viewing, but do they care anymore with regards to basic analogue cable? We'd probably only get the one digital STB for the sitting room.

The splitter doesn't seem to be causing too much signal degredation - it's an all-metal shielded one with F connectors and is rated up to 1GHz IIRC, or at least 800MHz.
