Ghostbusters 3 Confirmed - In CGI

Dan Akyroyd has confirmed that there will be a third Ghostbusters movie and the old cast are on board, only if its done in CGI however. Obviously there are some good points about a CGI movie in that it will allow the Characters to be the same age as the originals and it will allow for things to be done that cant be done in Live action but if im honest I think this wont be good at all.

They should leave the Ghostbusters series alone.

I dunno. I'd love another Ghostbusters film but only if it was done right. I'm not buying this CGI stuff though. Bad move.

Ugh, while I would love a new Ghostbusters movie, CG only is not the way to go. It'll be totally wrong for the Ghostbusters to look creepier than the ghosts themselves.

I seen pretty dodgey CGI Peter Vankman giving a press conference on a clip leaked to YouTube not too long ago... it's since been removed... but it looked pretty horrifying.

Christ, will Akyroyd ever get a life and give up this Ghostbusters 3 nonsense. He's been talking about for about 17 years now, and I thought Tom Arnold was bad.

Murray just wants the money but doesn't want to have to spend 3 months of his life making crap, hence the reason he'll never sign up to another live action Ghostbusters but on the other hand has no problem doing Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties.

Time to let go, Dan, go make another movie ffs!

I'd say that was probably one of the videos from ZootFly's ghostbusters game. They didn't have permission to use the Ghostbusters license and put up a few videos on YouTube to generate interest, but Sony made them remove all references to it from youtube and their website, pending negotiations. Looked like a half-decent game, although I'm not sure how representative the footage was.

yeah i saw those clips, the game did look pretty cool. A GTA feel to it.

Back on topic, i was disappointed when i heard the news of GB3 in CGI. I always like their idea for the script for GB3 that ramis talked about in the past. Ghostbusters go to hell or something like that. Maybe the CGI film will be the same script?

Just wont be same without live action murray tho!

Which is why it'll most likely never happen. The only reason Akyroyd hasn't made another Ghostbusters by himself or with a new cast already is because Murray IS Ghostbusters. The original never would have worked without him. Everyone knows this which is why no studio will ever give Akyroyd a cent without Murray on board.

yea that was a clip they made from their 360 game in development
