Guitar rig 2 watchtower tone?

Howdy folks, i be wondering if anyone can help me.

I'm trying to get a tone in guitar rig 2 like Hendrix had on all along the watchtower.

I've tried some of the different pre-sets but I can't really find one I'm happy with and I've tried making up my own but that ended badly :D

From an issue of total guitar from a few years ago they have the tab for it and in the introduction they have this:

"The famous intro lead part uses a lightly overdriven tone on the neck pickup..."

The guitars where...an early japanese squier strat through a marshall jmp-1 and boss gx-700"

So guitar rig users and anyone else who knows their shhtuff, any ideas?

I'm not expecting to get it 100% the same, but something close to it.
    Cheers all.

It's in the fingers, not a plugin. Seriously, there's no rocket science behind that tone, it's just how it's played that's important.

    What the doc said.

Though, in terms of amp model, looking at the Plexi should get you closer.
