Just watching it now, the reaction of the guy when Louis told him it was 5.30 in the morning was sick!

I reckon a lot of that was staged to a greater or lesser extent. Some bad acting & editing too.

Did I hear right when the big roller won $5000 on the slots he said it was $3500 after tax, is this true, 30% of all winnings how does that work?

Lol. Coming from the man who had to be pulled kicking and screaming from the poker tables after 2 foodless and sleepless 30 hour sessions. As he said himself though, there's only one thing he needs to feed and that's found at the table....

And I spent the last few years thinking poker players are sick, how wrong I was. I actually feel ok about my poker now, the people on that show last night are some of the most twisted degeneates I have ever set eyes on. It was scary.

Actually I think he was playing Lobster Mania. No doubt there may be some differences that Mike could clarify as the Lobster spinning expert.

    The old woman was scary:

Casino Employee: This is Rose(?) she's our most valued customer.
Woman: Hey, Johnny how do I work this gambling machine?
Casino Employee: Heh... It's Jimmy ma'am... Hold the Queen and Jack
Woman: O... What do I do now?

It was a fairly balanced look at gambling though... I thought the mattress king guy had a good slant on it...

He reminded me of the millionaire guy from Caddyshack.

And as for it being setup, I don't think so.
Louis just finds the strangest people he can cling to.

It was the one and only Lobster Mania featuring Lucky Larry. The best slot machine ever. The sight if it last night on TV almost had me booking the next flight to Vegas.

I was looking forward to them confusing Louis with the term "Whale". Pity it never happened.

Is that what the whale Alan was? I missed the 1st couple of minutes and I was wondering for the rest of the show how he had made his money. I was also wondering why the 1st slots host guy with the old woman was a zombie but I figured Vegas casinos were just cost cutting by importing them from Haiti.
