I currently am switching the vga lead on my monitor of pc and plugging it into my projector. Had a look oround and the vga splitters sem very expensive. Any one know if there is a cheap option or somewhere to purchase one for under €60. Basically I am after a device or adaptor to display my PC on both my monitor and projector. My PC does not have svhs output. (Svhs already used on the projector from my sat reciever)

Does your comp/GPU card have a DVI output? If so you could just get an adapter and save a lot of expense. I assume you can't do that though.

Just searched eBay and they have a Y-splitter for VGA at around a fiver...I don't know what splitting the signal does to the quality....also splitter boxes for ~40 which seem ideal for your purpose and wouldn't suffer from as much quality loss (if any)
