o what a day:( welcome to the club dubtom,well well well,chevy v8 has had a very bad day:( fire in the hole,his lovely camaro went on fire outside eddie rockets:eek: just the engine compartment,and out off all off us there was only one fire extinquser,how fast things can happen,a bracket holding a water pipe shorted off a cut off switch,there was flames when we lifted the hood,no damage only for the paint lifting on the hood,and a pipe or two burned,put the lovely engine bay will need a good clean,it could off been so much worse,so thanks to vinny who had the sence to have a fire extinquser,every body will have one now after this,be warned friends, a few euro spent on a fire extinquser,can save your car from burning to the ground,and make no mistake about it,only for vinny with the extinquser liams car would be gone,take note:eek:

I learnt 2 important lessons today, 1= put my fire extinguiser in the car and 2=my car isn't loud enough. Nice meeting all of you lads and seeing your beasts.
Glad there was only minimal damage Chevyv8, Lesson learned for us all.

Hi All. Had One Hell Of A Day Yesterday. A Good Few Of The Gang Met Up At My Place, And Cruised To E Rockets In Stillorgan. As Any That Were There Will Know I Was Smokin More Than Normal...... My Dad (80) And My Mam (78) Walked Up To See The Yankee Metal. My Folks Thought I Was Putting On A Show For Them. Don Dude Thought I Put In A Smoke Machine. And I Thought Bob Marley Was Smokin Da Big Weed In My Camaro.. A Wire Retainer Crossed Onto My Battery Cut Off And Shorted Up The Braiding On My Heater Pipes . And Up She Went.. But Thanks To Vinny Butlers Quick Thinking , He Grabbed His Fire Extinguisher,and Put It Out. Not Too Much Damage Done . 2 Heater Pipes, Air Filter And Paint Damage To Bonnet. All The Chrome Polished, Pipes And Air Filter Sorted Today. Paint Next. Many Thanks To Vinny , Bill, Don , Steve , Paul , Anto, And Any Of The Gang Ive Forgotten. Major Lesson ,,,,, Carry A Fire Extinguisher (30 Euro Can Save You Thousands) Next Time Im Smoking It Better Be A Cigarette....:d
