    Where to get things fixed.

Ok guys you are going to laugh at this one.:D

Here in the office we have the following items which are now not working.

    1) Dell Projector (when bang which using)
    2) Monitor (keeps going dark by its self)
    3) Laptop (will not turn on)

Where is the best place to send these items to see if they are be fixed?

    All out of warranty

Does that make sense to anyone?

No so obviously English is not his first language... give him a break. Its obvious what he means.

For the laptop... any computer repair shop. Use Golden pages.
The monitor.. well thats hard to say. does it do this whule someone is using it? Or if its left for a while?
Projector im not sure about.. there must be some audio/visual repair places.. again.. golden pages.

Where abouts are you located OP? There are a few chaps on boards who do computer repairs, check out the adverts.ie section under Job Adverts->Services Available. Apart from that, would need your location before recommending somewhere.

Could be the bulb that's gone on the projector (assuming he meant "went bang when using"??) - these need to be frequently replaced like any other light bulb and can be replaced easily enough, however they can cost quite a lot!

I was talking to a polish engineer today. He has just fixed my laptop. He says he can fix any electrical device. He is working from Wigoders ( which is a paint shop) on the Long Mile Road, Dublin 12. Ring up and ask for Martin!

    1- New bulb is needed
2-Not worth it, backlight is gone or going
3-Did you try a new charger? I would put money on that being the problem.

    Many thanks

    Sorry about the spelling... :(

Yes the projector when bang while using it, doesn't seem to be the bulb.

Did try a new charger with the laptop and doesn't work.

    Thanks for your help.

Remove the battery and then try.
