Lads, Just wondering how come there doesnt seem to be any large buyin events (>1K)between the start of January and the Paddy Power in April. If you look at it we had over 300 runners at the IPC and will have circa 700 at the Irish open yet we dont seem to have anything in beween. In May we have 3 big buy in tournys which…

Lads,

Just wondering how come there doesnt seem to be any large buyin events (>1K)between the start of January and the Paddy Power in April.

If you look at it we had over 300 runners at the IPC and will have circa 700 at the Irish open yet we dont seem to have anything in beween. In May we have 3 big buy in tournys which is great but there does seem to be a big gap in the calander for Feb March which I would have thought was a prime time for poker (weather etc)

Maybe Im missing some events (hopefully cause I would love a big game) but there does seem to me a big opportunity to pencil in an event or two for these months. I know realistically it cant be done this year but hopefuly next year the gap will be filled. In fairness most owners/organisers are friends and maybe it would be an idea for them to get together and fit a feb and march tourny next year?
