ok had eircom bb at 2mb but modem broke and buy new eircom in a box to get modem .. but on the outside of box it says 1mb line ... does this make any differ

modem does not matter no. The eirom box just has the 1mb on it because if you register that one for broadband thats the speed eircom will give you.

I know people had probs with smart, but I am now on the 6Mbps service and have no probs. Checked my speed and got 5.90Mbps down and 502Kbps up!
