Quick question, when you use the print screen button, where do the files save?

They are copied to the clipboard, not saved anywhere afaik. You open Paint and then Edit->Paste, then save and away you go. :)

On the Clipboard, use another program like word or mspaint and then paste the contents from the clipboard into that.

Print Screen gives a full screen print.
Alt+Print screen gives the active window print. (i.e. Error messages and such)

alternatively get a program called gadwin, free, simple and makes taking screenshots, even of specifics sections of the desktop, easy, has its own built in image viewer so you can see the image as soon as you press printscreen. It goes in my folder of essential fresh install software.
