    Hi there,

Does anybody know if there are any lenders who offer debt consolidation mortgages to first time buyers?

    Thanks a million,

    JJ

    Hi Jamjar
Any lender will look at doing a debt consolidation mortgage but none will lend over 100% of the value of the property you wish to buy. So, unless you are getting a house or site from family at below market price then I don't think debt consolidation will be possible

as a 'first time buyer' you want a loan for debt consolidation [maybe a big ass loan - but a loan none the less]

If your a first time buyer, that means you dont have a property ATM - so you have nothing to secure the 'debt consolidation mortgage' against?

Most banks would be very receptive to a request for a debt consolidation loan of most amounts I would think?
