Wireless PCMCIA card randomly crashing XP?

This is getting really irritating... and the solution is looking like purchasing a new USB wireless adaptor, but before I give in... has anyone had either of these issues and solved em?

    1. Your wireless PCMCIA card randomly crashes your computer? When I say crashes, there is no BSOD, just a freeze...
    2. Sometimes the PC won't boot as the PCI card is being accessed and the PC freezes again preventing login.

I have scoured the web looking for a solution. It appears that this is a very common issue with desktops and wireless pcmcia cards but what gives? There has to be a solution!

The same thing happened to me. I gave up a bought a USB wireless adapter. Never had any trouble with it. Cut your losses before it drives you mad.

Cheers Hagar... I think that's just what I'm gonna do ... But I will ceremoniously crucify the wireless card with a baseball bat... that'll make me feel better.
