Has any body managed to add an extra Hard Drive to a Sky DigiBox? I have a Portable Lacie 100GB USB drive.

    Thanks

    ????
Do you mean replace the Sky+ hard drive with a larger one? If so yes, and you can find lots of info on the web.

As far as I know you will not be able to use a USB drive, you will have to internally replace the existing drive.

I assume you know that the standard Sky digibox does not use a hard drive and you can't turn it into a Sky+

    Thanx a mil.
Yes it's a Sky plus box.
I want to keep the stuff on the original hard drive and I want easy access to it. I think I will have to see if I can ghost the internal drive onto a 250GB replacement drive.

Have a look here and do some searches...

People have indeed managed to copy the content of their existing disk using a PC utility called copy+

    Good luck...
