Tax Year for which I am making a claim?

I'm filling out the rent relief file and there is a field that says:

"Tax Year for which you are making a claim"

I started paying rent in 2006 so do I put this down or is it 2007?

If it's 2006 do I have to send in another one for 2007?

    Thanks for any help!

Yes you can claim back previous years (Any time limit?), so yes you need one per year.
Tax office will refund you the year 2006.
