It doesn't have a mat but I like the set I got in debenhams recently, 23e down from 78. 500 chips(nice enough), 2 decks, 5 dice(lol), black metal case.

    About three weeks ago.
Maybe not anymore. They might have been trying to clear them or something.
I was just there to buy some jeans and couldn't say no.

was that the same set that was reduced in Argos just before Christmas?

I bought the same set in Debhinams (Black case 500chips), 23 euroooo is a great bargain, I meant to post it in bargain alerts at the time. They could be sold out by now. Also I only saw this in Galway, I don't know if they were on sale anywhere else.

As for getting a mat, I've never seen anything decent included in a chip set and wouldn't bother with one, you'll get pissed off with it in two hands and just play on the table.

I don't know about the Argos one.
I got it in galway too, they had them all around the counter, who could say no. A bitch to carry them home but excellent value.
