Anyone got any decent Dell offers?

The brother wants to buy a laptop and I said I'd check here for him.

I told him to go for a core duo, with at least 80gb HD, at least 1gb ram and and a graphics card that is not integrated.

I got mine on dells outlet on ebay

saved over €1000 to what it would have been on the normal dell site, 3 barely visible scratches on it, otherwise comes exactly like a new dell, warranty manuals etc.

I can vouch for this, I got a new one and placed it on the floor to open the side and check the motherboard turned it round and a peice of dirt scratched the case.
Mate got one form the damaged / scratched store and it was in better shape than the tiny scratches I put on mine.

I actually got one identical to that for e697 delivered on the dell outlet website on Monday morning. You have to be persistent until you get a good deal.
