    What month does the English reg change ? from say, 04/54 or 05/55

    XX05XXX = March 2005 onwards & XX55XXX = Sept 2005 onwards etc.

    An XX55XXX would be a late 2005 or early 2006 car. VRT (& Irish Number Plate Year) will be calculated by the date/month/year it was first registered, so d'ont get caught out;)
