    Anyone else seen the 1799 deal Curry's is doing for 42 inch Phillips LCD (stupidly, didn't write down the model) home theatre system and quite a nice glass and steel unit to house it all.

    Don't know what model the TV was but the picture looked excellent and the sound system sounded good as well. Good value for money or not?

    model 42pf5421 and free dvdr3380 philips dvd recorder worth €169 ,according to currys,

    a friend of mine got this tv for 1525 before christmas on special, he says its very good
