I want to get a video cable for my Creative Zen Vision: M. I don't want to pay for an official one just because they decided not to use standard connectors. I know I can make one but I really just want to walk into a shop today and buy one.

I'm based in Dublin city. Anyone know where to go?

    Tried ebay?

On the other hand, quality of the cable matters. If you paid over 200 euro for this (brilliant, saw it at friends) player I would not cut corners on 15 euro cable Original cable means transfers are not messed up by any interference and the cable itself should not break (loose connectors etc).

Have you read the FAQ at all?

Buy a standard AV cable and connect it up as suggested in this post:

The iPod video cable is not the same as the Creative one, as detailed in the link in my post.

The reasons I wanted a cheap alternative are two fold... 1) I don't want to be shafted by Creative who could quite happily have made their unit compatable with standard cables and 2) it's only for use with a cheap television in work on night shifts so premium quality isn't high on the agenda.

If it came to ordering from eBay i'd probably pony up the fifteen quid, I was just hoping that there'd be somewhere in Dublin I could pick one up that would satisfy me straight away.

It's a 3rd party one as you requested, so you can avoid any cash going to
Creative. GBP 11.99 plus shipping. I've used both this one and the official
lead and there is no difference with quality.

I've ordered from this site several times (cases, mains chargers and the
av leads). If I order on a Monday I tend to get delivery Wednesday/Thursday
    the same week.
