Does any tauri recall the particulars of the episode in which the To'kra informed stargate command that they believe that a Go'auld never returned through the anulas and was still residing somewhere on Earth.

    Which series and eipisode?

It was another word for Stargate, but AFAIK it was only used in one episode in season 5.

The ep was set on the world Katau (sp?), SG1 had to travel through their sun (in the wormhole) in order to get to the planet, and in doing so caused it to die (for want of a better word). They spent the entire episode trying to correct their mistake, only for the Asguard, probably, to save it for them.

OP, User45701 is right AFAIK. It was the Seth episode.

Also recall a bunch of other refrences such as Ragnarok, Odin and Midgar...besides a Final Fantasy game, which branch of mythology is that? Anyone? Greek?

I believe it to be Viking mythology.

Norse/Viking mythology. The Asgard are the prime example of this (Asgard is the ancient mythical home of the warrior gods). They have Odin, Thor, Freya, Loki, etc - all from Norse mythology.

Why do people think the goa'uld are extinct or something?

Baal is still around (not as powerful) and still commands an army of Jaffa.

Not to mention all the goa'uld that have done the same like baal and regrouped.

    Am bewildered.

How can there be multiple Baal's? Has this occured in season 9 or 10. Am quite poor so cannot afford fancy digital TV. Have to wait for the box set.

Actually quite like the idea of more that one Baal. He is the coolest of all the System Lord's. I love his arrogance.
