    1/2 NL Holdem

    Hand 1

    Effective stacks 300

The table has been playing ridiculously tight so i've been playing uber aggressively pre and postflop taking down lots of pots with second and 3rd barrels and lots of preflop squeezes with junk. I've also been doing lots of stupid stuff and have been showing alot of the garbage i've been winning with.

A few limpers and I make it 15 to play with AdKd

SB and one other guy call. The SB has been playing stupidly tight. very very average ABC player who has been saying he's going to catch me in a pot.

    Flop (50)

    Jd 2d 4s

Checked to me and I bet 30. SB makes it 75. I shove.

    Hand 2

Same table. Someone makes it 10. 2 callers and I make it 45 on the button with Jh4h. Only the decent open raiser calls. Effective stacks 280.

    Flop (110)

    J 8 4 rainbow

he checks. I bet 80. He thinks and calls.

    Turn (270)

    Q

    He shoves.

    I?

    Hand 3

This hand really annoyed me at the time. Her line left me totally confused.

    Different table.

4 limpers and I make it 12 to play on the button with 7d8d

An Asian girl limp raises to 25 (she limped after 3 limpers) I call as does another player.

    Flop (80ish)

    2d 6s 8c

SB checks, Asian girl checks  . I ask her what hand she could possibly limp raise with preflop and then check the flop with. Then say I have to punish the weakness and bet 45. She calls.

    Turn (170ish)

    Qd

She leads for 100 leaving 150 behind.

    I?

    Hand 4

I open 66 for 12 in the CO. button who is a good player calls.

    Flop (30ish)

    Kc Tc 2s

    I bet 20. He calls.

    Turn (70)

    4h

    Check check.

    River (70)

    8s

    I check. He bets 55.

    I?

    Hand 5

I've been playing really laggy here as well, raising 90% of buttons and cutoffs for the past 5 or so hours.

Effective stacks 360. Villain in the hand is an enigmatic middle aged lady. I've seen her checking aces from the bb after 6 limpers and limping them several times. She overplays lots of one pair hands and spews left right and centre.

I'm dealt AA on the button and make it 20 to play after lots of limpers.

The lady looks at her hand on the BB and I cna tell she's excited before she just calls. 2 other people call.

    Flop (90)

    K 3 4 rainbow

She leads for 25. I make it 60. She then accidentally string bets, so a min raise is declared. I ask her if we can check it down if I call, but she says no.

    Call, fold or shove?

    Hand 6

    2/5 NL

    Effective stacks of 900.

I make it 20 from UTG+2 with KK after 1 limper. 3 people call.

    Flop (80ish)

    Js Ts 4h

SB donkbets for 80. UTG calls. I make it 240.

    Folded to UTG who shoves.

I talk myself through the hand and say to myself the only hands I can be behind are 44 or JT. UTG says he has one of the 2 hands but that he's been running bad and doesn't want to get outdrawn but that he'll show his hand regardless of whether I call or fold. I lol quite a bit and someone calls the clock on me.

    Call or fold?

    Hand 1
I dont think this guy is folding so I might look to hit before pushing either way I dont think pushing here is ever a huge mistake

    Hand 2
If player is decent i think your beat here he obviously beats a pair of jacks not a lot of hands can call the 80 on flop and be beating a pair of jacks and be behind your two pair.
Unless i can find away to put him on a very fishy QT call on flop i am folding

    Hand 3
I cannot see how you are possibly ahead unless this is a crazily played AKd

    Hand 4
Looks a busted flush but i think a fold here is never terrible while a call might be

    hand 5
AK or KK your read which it is, shove or fold accordingly i probably shove as i dont like laying down AA here

    Hand 6
I am going to say call even though i do not know your holding :-)

    #1 standard
    #2 call
#3 check the flop, I'd fold the turn prob but I might call
    #4 fold
#5 call down or shove if you think she will call with Kq or AK etc

Hand 1 - seems good. Its hard to see him folding a pair, so perhaps call is better and stackoff if you hit one of your 15 cards on the turn.

Hand 2 - I call getting those odds and given my previous. I am not sure that I like it though.

hand 3 - I call and stack off if I hit. I would have checked the flop.

    Hand 4 - fold

Hand 5 - Call and call to the felt,

Hand 6 - He took a really really strong line. I can find a fold here.

    hand 1. fine
hand 2. call, can't really put him on a hand though
hand 3. call turn, might fold river if non diamond Ace or King falls
    hand 4. call
hand 5. stink, if you think she doesn't play AK like this you should fold. If AK is possible, then she's a 2:1 dog to have KK so you should just shove I guess
hand 6. I think I call. I'm guessing he would most likely raise the donks bet of 80 with JT or 44, therefore it looks like he has a big draw, if so you may have blockers.

    man, I'm a calling station

    I love Vegas.

    Hand 1: I like

Hand 2: I think QJs and Q8s are danger hands here, but if he's good what's he doing calling that raise OOP with one of those hands? It's a very strange way to play a set, It's possible he has an overpair and wanted to see if you have any of the flop by checking, but again I can't see why he wouldn't check-raise the flop. Hmm. Tough, but I'd like to say that I'd probably find a fold here, but getting almost 3:1 in a game in Vegas I know I'd call.

Hand 3: I call and hope to hit something bigger than second pair. If I don't hit I fold/check behind the river

    Hand 4: I fold.

    Hand 5: yuck. I call.

    Hand 6: I fold.

    Ian,

After 5 hours beside the enigmatic middle aged lady that you are noticing getting excited I would suggest fold and leave.. ;)

    Gotta love Vegas.

    Hand 1: Like it.

Hand 2: Call. The way you've been playing. The pot is quite big. You can beat AA KK. Shame u can't beat any 2 pair hands he mite have. …Still call.

Hand 3: Fold. I check behind on the flop a lot. I think she has AA KK

    Hand 4: Fold

Hand 5: Never thrust in old ladies…I call her down. Maybe she gets excited about AK KQs,willys,,!?!

    Hand 6: Fold...

    Call!
    AQ AA or KK

    (I hope she wins!!)
...She leads for 100 leaving 150 behind.

    I?
Fold - she probably floped a set or slowplayed AA/KK

    Hand 4

    ...I check. He bets 55.

    I?
    raise to 165
Either missed draw or weakish K

    Hand 5

    Call, fold or shove?
Fk it shove! - she'd hardly lead with KK? more likely QQ

    Hand 6

    Call or fold?
    ...he's on a draw - call!

    1. Standard
    2. I don't think I'd fold here for 150 more
    3. Check the flop, her line is very confusing, I might call/I might fold
    4. Hmm, default is to fold, but I might call some people here
    5. call
    6. call

    fold, call or raise.
never mind all that - when are you updating your blog with filth!? how am i supposed to live my life vicariously if i got nothing to work with?
You're giving me nothing here Ian! not even Strippers!

    Lol Doc. Soon.

    Results were:

    1. He called with KJ which held up.
    2. I called and he had 88
    3. I folded the turn, mainly because she was sexy and I didnt want to outdraw her and have her leave the table :) She told me later she had aces. I should definitely have checked the flop though!
    4. I called and he tabled AcJc. I thought this was a pretty standard call
    5. Was a true sickener. Donkey kong tabled KK which held up. because she'd play KT/KJ/KQ/AK the same way it was a call. Just unlucky I guess.
    6. I folded and he showed AJ after which I got a verbal warning from the cardroom manager.
