    Hello

I went to Argos today and bought a FTA television. It has a screen and you can get sound on it also. I found the following FTA channels when I put my FTA aerial into it:

    RTE1
    RTE2
    TV3
    TG4

I know a man down the road who has a big aerial who can also get the following FTA channels

    BBC1
    BBC2
    UTV
    CH4

I heard about these channels because I have a source in the Irish Independent. If you look at the back of the paper they have listed all the FTA channels you can get.

I'm looking forward to the 6 nations rugby on RTE2 on my Irish FTA television.

More information when I get it

    Wow. I'm impressed.

If you get a big aerial yourself, you might get to watch BBC 1, it will also be showing the 6 Nations.

I hope it's an English FTA television and not a German FTA one, otherwise the commentary will be in German. I once bought a Sony FTA television and had to throw it out because Michael O'Muircheartaigh kept talking in Japanese .. at least I THINK that's what it was...

Does this FTA TV have an IBA 2 button on it?

It may have as I'm sure it was built by 'Analouge Devices' :D

One other question to the OP. Is your FTA television MPEG4 ready and covered by the Good Friday Agreement?
