Driving jobs on australian licence

not sure if ive got the right forum here but maybe someone here knows the answers!

im an irishman, been living in australia for a couple of years (am semi permanent there now), will be coming back to ireland for a few months due to family crisis.

dont know how long ill be in ireland for but ill need to work

i have an australian truck licence (articulated lorry), are companies going to be willing to employ with this licence, or do i need to exchange it for an irish one.

i can do that, but its a lot of hassle and seeing as i dont know how long im going to be in ireland for id prefer to tick away with the aussie licence.

if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to tell me where to put it and ill repost it there!

The Australian driving licence is fully recognised over here, and you don't have to exchange it for an Irish one, unless it expires.
