I am awaiting an over schedule withdrawal from neteller so decided to use the live chat to ask them to check if there was a problem with withdrawal as it was debited from my acc. They told me there is a current problem with bank transfer withdrawals.

I asks; whats the problem? reply was, not at liberty to say

I ask; how long will i have to wait? cant answer and I'm told to email memberwires@net. I did 36 hours later no reply.

Is this a little given worrying recent events, anyone having the same problem

It should only be a problem for US based customers who are relying on US banks to process their withdrawals.
There's probably a backlog and/or a bit of upheavel in the Neteller company with all the US legislation and stuff.
Most of the poker sites that are still taking US customers have lost all the financial providers like Neteller/Firepay/etc and are only issueing cheques to US players.
As long as your address and neteller a/c are regged outside of the US you should (eventually) have no problems.

Yeh have to say customer service seems anything but helpful, suppose there snowed under with the US happenings. I do have the neteller card but never used it guess now is a good time to try it out

Sometimes taking 4-6 weeks according to 2+2 posts. Maybe find a boards person that you trust and transfer him the $$ and get him to give you cash for it.

But would that be americans posting on 2+2, aren't pokerstars cheques sent out from galway?

there seems to be a general delay in cash out from netteller, there was a lot of chat from players in the chat box on stars recently and on tribece, seems a lot of players are waiting for cheques.

Keep us updated Nic on when the bank transfer comes through will you as I'm probably gonna be doing a withdrawal to my bank myself quite soon. I'd like to know what kind of wait I can expect so as to figure that in. Cheers. But don't worry about their solvency or the fact you will get it, as I said in an earlier thread they have all their deposits secured and a whole load of cash besides.

By the way the rumour is that the US Dept of Justice is gonna nab someone else high profile during superbowl weekend. Would *love* to know who - if they are from a public company you could make a lot of money from short selling the shares :) Wonder if there are some Americans in the political / legal domain making some good money from this since the first started arresting e-gaming people.

TBH its more like going to an ATM and finding that's its out of order rather then worried about the solvency of neteller but still annoying when I'm used to a 40/60 hour transaction and now its 9days.

In Ireland, Pokerstars cheques are sent out from a Bank of Ireland account in Shannon, Co. Clare (in my experience) and arrive after a few days. After Neteller, cashing out from Pokerstars has been the easiest and most convenient cashing out I have experienced - this includes cashing out from Paddy Power.

I've been trying to open an account to move money out of FTP - Its been three weeks now and I have just finished the verification process to open the account and have now started the process to verify my bank account. Along the way they have provided only wrong or useless information. Looks like I should have ordered a cheque.

I read the t&c's and they do make it fairly clear that they are not an escrow service and that if they go insolvent that you could lose your money. What makes people so confident that they couldn't go insolvent? - They have just lost a massive percentage of their turnover and have all the same expenses.

I cannot understand the logic behind the American sites not processing payments back into the card used to deposit.

    Dear Mr. Kelly,

Thank you for your email. We have taken a look at your account in regards to the situation.

We are experiencing withdrawal delays for members with USD currency of their NETELLER accounts, we do suggest opening a new NETELLER account with a different currency to avoid future withdrawals.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. I transferred money to my bank account on the 18th of January and it only arrived yesterday. This seems to happen around once every ten or twelve transfers (for me anyway).

I'd never bother sending them an email, unless they've initiated the correspondence. Just call them on the number given in the Help section when you log-in. They're still as incompetent but you'll eventually get put through to someone who can deal with your specific problem. I can imagine these sort of problems are caused by human error that would otherwise be ignored and a phone call will alert them to anything like this.

    Just got this from Neteller:

Recently NETELLER has been experiencing difficulties that have slowed down our handling of bank transfer withdrawals. We have resolved the issues and your bank transfer withdrawal should reach your bank account within the next few days.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Thank you for choosing NETELLER.

I am having the same problem with them. I withdrew money from GJP so I could fund my NSPC game and it arrived in Neteller straight away but I decieded that i wanted it withdrawen to my bank. It has been 9 working days now and it still hasn't reached my BOI account, I done the live chat as well and they were useless. I sent an email and they still havn't replied.
What I was worried about 3 months I withdrew money from Pokerstars and they deposited it into my accout twice by mistake and I said nothing. So I was thinking that maybe they are after figuring this out there now and just decieded to take my money this time!!

I just hope they sort this out soon.

Its €1 to withdraw to a BOI account, I have always been withdrawing €100 so Im not sure is it more for the more you withdraw. Its fair enough to be honest.
