    What's up peeps?

It would be my brothers birthday in a couple of weeks, 30th awwww

Anyway, we're not really a present buying family but i'm going to make an exception for his 30th, which will make it all the more surprising and brighten up what may be a fairly depressing day. I'm not looking forward to my 30th that's for sure!!!!

I was originally going to get him Guitar Rig 2, but i've managed to aquire it by other ''means'':)

Now i want to get him some kind of audio interface as i doubt his lappy's soundcard would handle the demand.

    So what do ya's recommend?

Toneports are great but kinda defeats the purpose of using modeling software like Guitar Rig.

Will your brother be running the interface on a laptop or desktop? Can he install PCI cards? Does he have firewire?

What's your budget? UX2 sounds like the perfect thing.

yeah i was looking at that last night, does indeed sound like a good deal... 200 euro isn't it? I'm sure i can stretch that for such a special occasion.

I also want to get a top notch pair of headphones to.

I have to vote, too late of course, for a legit version of Guitar Rig. I'm gonna be the conscience of this board!
