I have freeview in my bedroom and a subscription downstairs.

I have the FTA itv's and bbc's tuned in on my subscription box through other channels.

But is there a way to look at the other channels the same as the main channels. IN other words can I see what is on ITV without having to turn the channel on. And once it is on, I can only see what is on now and next.

    Cheers.

I use Aertel or Three Text as they are the easiest and quickest way to see what is on UTV.

No. As its not on the EPG (got a channel number) you will only see "now and next" The 7 Day EPG is the sole domain of the Sky Digibox, I'm afraid.

There is the upside down card trick, where you 1) tune to Sky News 2) Press red and wait for interactive to load 3) turn your card upside in your box 4) press backup. 5) tune to 101, it should be BBC 1 London, 103 is ITV1 Central West. Some people find this not ideal if you are switching frequently between sub and free channels, and there might be an issue with wear and tear pulling the card out of the slot frequently.

You say you have "Freeview"... you may be mixing up terms with satellite and terrestrial. Freeview is only ever used in terms of the UK's digital terrestrial system. You either have a FTV card, an FTA system upstairs, or Freeview itself.
