We buy the finest spirits, blended and refined over generations to produce complex subtle flavours - then drown those subtleties with some mass produced pish masquerading as tonic water.

    Schweppes is out.

Here in the UK, a company called Fever Tree is now making some of the best mixers available, unfortunately that availability is limited to one supermarket chain, one off-license chain and the high-end London stores, Harrods et al.

So, looking for alternatives to the Schhhhh.....

they also deliver to ireland. bit expensive but if you're a serious g&t drinker
would probably be worth it. friend of mine swears by the little cans of schweppes rather than the bottled version.

I like Tesco Finest minicans of mixer - tonic water & ginger ale being myfaves.

Does anybody know where you can get DIET Ginger Ale here? I normally have to go to Sainsburys in Newry or beyond for my fix (am on very effective diet & "real" drinks are banned)
