Sky+ and phoneline

I currently have sky (with some movies and full sport) and am getting sky plus with multiroom installed next monday. I have currently the sky box in the attic which feeds into a loft box and with the help of a tv link(magic eye), i can get sky and change channel in 3 rooms(all rooms watch the same thing). When i get sky plus, i intend putting this in the main room and leave the sky box in the attic to feed two rooms. For sky plus i have a wireless phone extention on order so the phone cable shouldn't be an issue. For the attic, would the installer split the phone cable (currenlty in the attic) and attach it to the box or would this be out of their scope???? If not, is this something that an electricion would do as DIY wouldn't be a strong point??

Just get en ext lead and run it down on a temp basis for the install! Does not have to be pretty, just there :D

If needs be Saruman, i will do that for the install, but while the installer is there, could i get him to split the phone line in the attic which will illiminate all hazzle at a later stage. Is this something they do??

Your installer should do it if you ask. Its quite a simple task. Just throw him an extra Eur10.00 or Eur20.00 for it.
