Opel Meriva 03 Squealling Noise

    All,

We have an Opel Meriva 03 and the front left wheel squeals after Driving about 15km. Short Journeys are fine.

Also when the wheel is turned right slightly it stops. Also Lightly pressing the brakes stops it.

    Need Help.

Have taken off the wheel to check the breaks but all looks ok - no obvious signs of something rubbing - but I'm far from an expert.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Joxer

Wheel; bearing on the way out, perhaps? Get a mechanic to check it out, they're cheap enough anyway. But sooner rather than later, because if it collapses, it's a lot of hassle, and may seize the wheel up mid-journey.

If pressing ont the brake lightly stops it, it could be a loose pad, or clip.
