What are Dell like to work for?

    Ok we did IBM, now Dell.

    Anybody had some good or bad experience at Dell ?
    Please give us some details, we want to know it all.

    On the plus side the social life was good and the training was probably the only Irish company I've ever worked for that had a good quality structured training programme.

    On the minus side management were like people brain-washed out of a cult, the money was poor, and the stress/pressure levels the worst of any job I've ever worked in over 10 years. You're at a distinct advantage if you have a bit of prior experience as a lot of the hirees are raw beginners and find it difficult to advance.
