Doctor Who and Martha are about to step into a new dimension - a cartoon one.

David Tennant and Freema Agyeman will star in The Infinite Quest, a 13-part animated adventure that will run weekly in the second series of Totally Doctor Who.

"The Doctor And Martha follow a trail of clues across wild and wonderful alien worlds, to find the location of the legendary lost spaceship, the Infinite," revealed Russell T Davies.

    ...

The Infinite Quest is written by Alan Barnes and directed by Gary Russell, and is set during the action of the third series of Doctor Who.

You're joking? What's that... four concurrent series now? Doesn't look bad at all.

    It'll be five really:
Doctor Who, Doctor Who: The Animated Series, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, and the K9 Animated series from Jetix.

Six if you count the ongoing series of novels that run alongside the show...

Well, it'll keep us going till Easter Saturday when I think Who returns to BBC1. Then I'm sure the board will clog up with all the aul "who is/what does/ is he..." threads about Saxon.

As this ani is by TRD there's probably a reference there as well. First to post about it gets a spinning badger as a reward.

Edit: Congrats on your Board Aidan, and also to Mike65 who stops off here from time to time.
