    Holy crap.
    http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2002471692,00.html

Must see them, I thought I'd never be able to, I saw Robert Plant and I thought that was all I'd get in my lifetime, but this...

I must see them no matter the cost!!

Also, I found out that Aerosmith are touring Europe in mid 2007... I thought I'd never get close to them either!
What a day this has been.
I need to lie down... :o

According to the official Aerosmith website, which doesnt include any mentions or notions of a European Tour in its news section, the only 2007 date the band are doing is in Argentina on April 15th.

The only other bit of news was this http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=66100 which says theyre prob gonna play the Arrow Rock Festival in Holland

They played Live Aid in July, 1985 (22 years), but they also played the Atlantic Records anniversary show in May of 1988.

Come hell or high water I'll be at at least one of those shows.

It's not a five year old article, it's recent (I've seen a few other sources online)
Rented Mules calculations are correct 2007-22=1985! :D

Read the article, Bonhams son Jason will be on drums.

Motley Crue: My understanding is that Aerosmith are doing a WORLD tour in 2007, I seriously doubt they'd skip Europe and go to South America.
Exact dates have yet to be announced, but expect them any day.

If I'm wrong about all this fine, no big deal, but I want to believe!

the way he was supposed to a few years ago, when Zeppelin turned down a reported $100million to tour?

    also, the article states the following;
    Plant is 54
    Page is 58
    Jones is 56

now *i'm* gonna do some math.
Plant was born in 48, he's 58 years old.
    Page was born in 44, he's 63.
    Jones was born in 46, he's 61.

article is over 4 years old dude.
Take a deeper breath and swallow your sorrow, tomorrow

    Uh....
Just heard on Phantom FM that apparently John Paul Jones is in talks with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page about another tour...Bonzo's son on drums again....
    This would be fùcking unreal......

The rumour appears to have started on Toronto's Q107 radio station.

Would be unreal as like the OP when I got to see Robert Plant, I thought that would be the closest I'd get to seeing them play. I remain sceptical until at least there is an official statement though.

I'm not particularly getting my hopes up; I heard the last time Bonzo junior did drums and they reformed it was less than amazing. Still, better than them not being around, I guess
