Padraig still there with 14 left. He's not mentioned in any updates, no photos of him either, there is a good photo of one of the tournament waitresses though.

OMG, the instant I file the above post, the update comes through on Cardplayer that Padraig has been eliminated in 14th for $55,400.

All-in preflop QcQs v AhKh in massive pot. AcAs5c3c4h board, no river club or Q for Padraig.

Bugger - Just did the same thing checked and read as above. Shame as I feel an FT appearance on the WPT for Padraig would turn him into a superstar in the states. Not that he isn't one already. He's playing some great poker these days.

i dealt at his table in the 750 game in Citywest in January which was no soft pushover and seen him play 2 of the best hands id ever seen included paul leckey, fintan, manus, northern guy guy who won the event, and an english pro called nick.

First hand: Padraig raises to 4300 blinds are 800-1500. as he has done a few times with no callers. this time he gets a caller. ( a German guy who`s mate is filming every hand). flop comes queen high padraig bets and the german dude calls. Padriag bets the 8d on the turn and does the german. the river is a deuce. Padraig checks again and the german fires out an 8K bet, padraig thinks for a while and pushes all-in for 30K. the german sits for about 10 seconds and parkinson says i know your folding..throw them in. and the german duly obliges.Padriag turns over 67h, for 7 high.
Next thing padraig says sure i knew you were folding the guy holding the camera behind you had stopped filming on the flop! classic! th ewhole table erupted with laughter.

an orbit or so later... padraid raises the same amount again, german guy calls again. flop comes Ah5cTd, padraig bets out german calls. turn in 7c, padraig checks as does german. river is Qc, padraig open-pushes all in for 25K or so. the german thinks for ages and calls with A7, and padriag shows 3c6c for the flush. nobody could put him on a hand the whole tournament, played great stuff.

He was unlucky to lsoe the race there, he`s a dangerous man with chips.
