    hi all,
just finished playing in the 200k on PP & need some info on the hand i went out in. from 999 starting, we were down to 300 with 85 to get paid (i think). blinds 200/400. i'm in SB with 6k, BB has 340 left after posting BB. folded around to button (10k) who makes it 800 to play. even though it was a min raise which usually stinks of AA or KK, i read it as stealing the blinds. what would be the rang for calling this 400 raise?

btw: i have JsKd & flop comes 7d7sJd. i push, would i be right here also?
he has AhAc & i'm out over 1 stupid play, or was it?
    opinions please

    yeah pretty bad tbh.

He has to have a hand becuase BB should always be calling.

You open push the flop, what is calling you that you beat?

Min raise from the button or SB is rarely anything but a monster iin my experience. I fold this PF in your position but call all day with rubbish in the BB as he is giving away his hand and giving nice odds to crack it

Bare in mind that because the BB is so shortstacked the button has very little chance of getting through with steal, so he is likely to have a legitimate hand here.

If we for the sake of argument adjust the BB's stacksize to 6k, and let's say he's a known piece of granite...

Calling with KJ here is still an awful play. If you have the button on a steal then you should reraise him pre-flop as a resteal, because although KJs may be ahead now it's going to be very difficult to play on the flop OOP. Given how much or your stack a resteal is going to cost here, I thin folding is the best option.

Also the open push on the lfopp is bad, for the reasons given by others above.

fold preflop, but once you see that flop you want to be check calling, let him bluff the hands that you beat, pushing will only fold them
