Hi,

Just to let you all know on the Sporting Emporium monthly DEEP STACK game will be held on Saturday 3rd February. The structure will be the same as before with 30 min levels reverting to 45 min when the running ante comes into play.

Starting stack 8,000
Buy-in €200 + €20

Doors open from 17:30 cards in the air 18:00.

11 still in when i left with Hectorjelly going well, he just took down a 50k pot as i was leaving with 10-10 vs J-J all-in pre flop. he somehow managed to find the case 10 on the flop.

The Chief also had a load of chips on the other table.

i was pretty card dead all night and was playing short stacked ninja poker from an early stage.

Intended to play but woke last Monday with a cough and shivering. Very ill for five days. Lost four pounds. Just recovered now. I could have eliminated half the poker community if I played.

Not 100% sure of the outcome of this last night but Warren went out 4th (rounders he's the guy that always wears i white tracksuit top and big earphones when playin tournies). Shane, Kevin and another SE regular that i cant remember his name but he's a good player were the last 3

I (Shane) managed to split this with "the other guy" (sorry mate cant remember your name!). Pretty happy with the split as i started heads up with 100000 chips to his 400000 chips and dropped as low as 70000 at one stage. (we split when i drew level as it was in the last hour and we did not want to come back next day)

made the trip from drogheda to play in this one as i heard so much about the venue and value, have to say both venue is excellent and the structre even caters for short stack play early on if you are unlucky. It helps that cash tables where soft to recover entry fee from my mid exit

Rounders ull have to stop having nightmares about that guy rasing you for that exact amount.:)

excuse my ignorance but when is this tourney on...I've never been to the SE but i take it from what i've already read that its the 1st sat of every month ??? What time does it normally run until, it must be pretty late with that structure ???

What kind of payout structure is it aswell, top 18 ???

what does 1st usually get ??? (hows that for confidence LOL)
