Hey, im wondering if someone could give me some advice on buying hardcases. I just stumbled upon a website which sells hardcases with bean bag support. http://www.hardcase.com/guitar_cases.htm

This would be great as it would serve the dual purpose of holding two guitar- an ibanez artcore (AM73) and a Telecaster. I just bought the ibanez and I am having trouble getting a hardcase for it. This case would mean that i could use it for both guitars (eventually ill need one for each, but one will do for the mo). Does anyone know if the Bean-Bag support is reliable? Are standard hard-cases/ flightcases more protective?

    Just buy this.. .

If buying over the web isn't convenient then take a walk into Musician Inc in town, they stock Ibanez and so may have the case in stock, and if not they can probably order it in for you. However, it will most likely be more expensive than buying from the link.

I personally would always go for a hardcase that's specifically made for the guitar, and to be honest that's all you need. Unless you plan throwing your guitars from any hotel windows?

I dont have experience of the beanbag case, but its a flightcase replacement by the looks of it.

'Flight' being the operative word, its designed to protect the guitar from morons who dont know whats in it.

If youre just looking for a hardcase to bring the guitar around yourself, a flightcase is overkill and bulky. Those beanbag cases look pretty tall, i wouldnt want to be lugging them around day to day.

Yeah, i tried them, but they would have had to order it and it would have been very expensive. Ill try the link thanks.

I will need a flight case at some stage (when my band takes off-I hope:)). But if i ever get to that stage, ill have loads of money and guns. I can then use the money for hookers. Then i can sell the guns and use that money to buy loads of hardcases and i can start my own hardcase business. Then, when i make it big in the hardcase business, I can buy my own flightcase.

But i suppose the simplest and most obvious solution would be to threaten the hookers with a gun and make them buy me a flightcase.
